What is an Ambassador?

Revive Our Hearts Ambassador is a woman who has been impacted by the message and ministry of Revive Our Hearts.

  • She has a deeper sense of calling and mission to reach other women’s ministry leaders (Bible study leader, women’s ministry directors, pastors' wives, small group leaders, etc. — really, any woman of influence).
  • She is someone who enjoys encouraging leaders, connecting with leaders, and connecting leaders with other leaders.
  • She has a heart to come alongside other women’s ministry leaders and encourage them in their calling to serve other women well, to lift up their arms, and help them press on in the daily duties of women’s ministry.
  • She is someone who enjoys being a cheerleader of others and helps others thrive in Christ.

The ministry asks the Ambassador’s to serve at least ten hours per month. The Ambassador role is very flexible and may look different every month due to schedules. Prayer is a vital part of this role. We do require each Ambassador to come to four days of training at the National Ministry Center in Michigan before they begin in the field. And we ask that they commit to a monthly call with their team and team leader.

How can I connect with an Ambassador?

Feel free to email the Ambassador in your area, or one located close to you.

What does an Ambassador do?

Depending on her gifting, and background, each Ambassador may express this calling in a variety of ways. She may initiate one-on-one meetings with leaders, group meetings with leaders, phone calls and/or emails of encouragement and prayer for those in her area. Her key responsibility is to come alongside pastors' wives/women’s ministry leaders in her community who are passionate about the Revive Our Hearts message and who have a desire to influence and share the message with others.

Is the Ambassador role a paid position?

No, the Ambassador role is not a paid position, but Revive Our Hearts does consider Ambassadors as staff. As Ambassadors, we know how much God has greatly used this ministry to transform our own lives. It is a blessing to give back and invest a small portion of our time for kingdom purposes.

What is required to become an Ambassador?

Ambassador candidates are required to move through an application process that helps them learn more about the ministry role and helps Revive Our Hearts learn about her unique gifts. If invited, the candidate goes through training at the ministry headquarters. If God leads, she is given support, prayer, materials, encouragement, and accountability to serve well in her area.
