  • I had the honor to meet Robert and Nancy years ago as a guest at the Lodge. I remember sitting next to Robert listening to him speak and reflect on it being an enjoyable time like sitting next to my own dad. He had such a fatherly presence about him and I can only imagine how many others including his family must have been comforted by his presence. How sweet to know He is now in the presence of Jesus where we find our ultimate comfort. Nancy, you are being prayed for, dear sister!

  • Dearest Nancy, Praying that our God will be your guide and ever present help. Your marriage has been an encouragement to me. God has used the example of your sincere, loving, grace-filled union to draw me into a deeper relationship with my husband. Thanking the Lord that you shared your Robert with us who love Revive our Hearts. He is an amazing man of God. We will continue to pray for you and your family.

  • May the Lord bless you, comfort you, and give you peace as you remember your loving husband Robert and all you both shared together in Christ. Yes, Heaven rules and Jesus is close to your heart, wiping every tear away and filling you with the grace and strength to carry on serving Him until the day you are face to face with your beloved husband Robert again in Glory in the magnificent presence of the Lord, surrounded by His love and peace and wrapped in His loving arms for all eternity✝️🕊️❤️😇🙏🏻!!!!

  • Dearest Nancy, My heart cried out to the Lord for you... I couldn't stop deeply weeping... & now again as I write, my eyes are filled with tears. I received the email earlier today & read the heading, "Robert Wolgemuth Safely Home," so thinking that he was here, back home, I said, "O Thank You Father," & kept preparing for my busy day.. so this evening when I opened the email, there was the very sad news!! My pastor husband, prayer & missions partner, ect., passed onto glory December 22, 2019, 6 years ago, so I can feel some of your pain. Nancy, "This too Shall Pass..!" I've felt so comforted by faithful Holy Spirit! A few times I've curled up & cried deeply in my bed saying, "Holy Spirit, hold me, hold me!" He would take my sorrow, I'd stop crying & begin to praise the Lord, then peacefully fall asleep!! My big Sister told me after her husband passed into glory, "Think as if you have a big wooden barrel full of water. Every time you cry, you are taking a tablespoon or cup of water out of the barrel & soon it won't hurt like it does at this time. Crying to our Savior/ Abba, helps to heal the wounds of the soul." The more that you praise & thank the Lord, His Joy Will be Your Strength!! That's a Promise!! All my love, to my faithful Sister, Nancy! Deborah Elrod Former Minne"Snow"tan 🫂❄️💞❄️💞❄️

  • Dear Nancy, I just found out about Robert’s hospitalization this Monday, and began following on Caring Bridge and praying for you and Robert and the rest of the family. I haven’t met you personally, but you’re a dear sister in Christ. I read You Can Trust God to Write Your Story, which encouraged me and helped me to see how you and Robert and others trusted the Lord in the highs and lows of life. Some of your other books have been instrumental in my life as well, and the Revive our Hearts podcasts have encouraged and challenged me. I’m blessed to see how you’re rejoicing in hope even now in the midst of sadness and the loss of your dear husband. He’ll be remembered as a godly man, and you’ll be in my prayers.

  • Dear Nancy,💕 My heart joins yours in this time of grief. Your beloved husband Robert has entered the glory of the holy God, the God he proclaimed and loved. His faith has now become sight, and what he once knew through the Word he now beholds fully before the throne of grace. We can echo the words of Scripture on his behalf: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” I am praying that the majesty, holiness, and unchanging faithfulness of our God will sustain you. In moments like these, we are reminded that even as our tears fall, God remains good, sovereign, and worthy of all trust. Robert’s testimony will continue to shine as a light to all who love the truth of the gospel.🙏🏻 Sending you a warm and heartfelt embrace, along with my prayers. ❤️

  • I lost my first husband to Covid in 2020, and we were married almost 40 years, and had 4 children together. He was only 58 when he went to be with the Lord. God will carry you through this time of grief and loss, and I’m praying you will be at peace, comforted, and sense the Lord’s loving presence holding you, as you begin your journey as a widow.

Amen.

  • I am so happy God brought the two of you together…until death parted you. Well done, and thank you for your example! 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️💔
