Nancy and tributes to Robert

I did not know Robert but I have been doing Bible Studies of Nancy's for sometime. She has truly been a blessing to me and my neighbor Phyllis as we have studied together weekly. It is through these studies Nancy has talked about her amazing husband and the goodness and faithfulness of God in their lives. My life has been changed through these studies and especially the study of Heaven Rules. The way they have walked through their trials has been more than an inspiration to me. So I send my love and prayers to Nancy and the family. Phyllis and I will continue to pray for you as we are studying Ruth at this time.

May you experience God’s richest blessings and love as He carries you through this difficult journey without your DH! You have served the Lord faithfully these many years, Nancy, and will continue to carry you through.
I have been and will continue to pray for you and your family. I am so thankful for the testimony of your marriage and Robert’s life. May you feel God’s presence now more than ever.
We do not say goodbye in despair, but in hope—knowing that one day, in glory, we shall meet again. Until then, we give thanks to God for a life well lived, a ministry faithfully fulfilled, and a love that reflects Christ. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… for their works follow them.” (Revelation 14:13).
Sending prayers of strength and courage to you Nancy and family in the days ahead in each moment. Thank you for sharing your ministry and love story-an inspiration of His leading and both your servant hearts to Jesus and each other. May peace and grace carry you through the days ahead as you remember and celebrate Robert.

Hi Nancy. I am very sorry for your loss. I have not been listening to you for long but my childhood was filled of the ringing of you reading scripture and encouraging my mother. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. When I lost my husband 1 year, 7 months, and 23 days ago, a friend shared these words with me, and they brought a peace to my heart that I still hold onto. I hope they offer you the same comfort: “I offer this one observation: you are in possession of such wonderful memories of a love shared that many will never experience in their lifetime. Cherish every moment you have stored in your soul and rejoice that our Lord gave you such a mate. Find comfort in knowing that one day you will be reunited once again.” There truly are no words that can fully express the depth of my sympathy for you, but please know my heart is with you in this season of sorrow.
Nancy, I have only known you through the web, as I live in New Zealand. But I have been so blessed by your ministry and your story even before you met Robert I had been following His and Bonnies story as well. Then to think God joined you both together.. I love how God lets us see how he brings his children together even from the other side of the world, and now as you say your goodbyes as well.. What a journey you have been on. The Lord bess you Nancy, may His grace and his face shine upon you, may the Lord lift up His counternance upon you and give you peace. Robert, a race well done. How precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints. Thank you for your volunrability through your all the years Nancy, I can only imagine the countless lives you have both inpacted over all the world. May our loving, sovereign God, hold you ever so close in these coming days.
Nancy, Your exceptional husband spent one day… and really one evening with me. It was life-changing. In early October 2010 at the Catalyst conference (hosted by GiANT Impact, a John Maxwell-affiliated organization), I had the privilege of speaker hosting Michael Hyatt. Michael could not join me for dinner that night and he asked me to have Robert join me for dinner in his place. That night was unforgettable. Your late husband, touched me in a profound way. I was a new father of two young daughters and he spent two hours counseling me on the importance of raising godly daughters, and practical wisdom to apply. He then proceeded to give me two books… She Calls Me Daddy and The Most Important Place on Earth and he even inscribed a lovely (and lengthy!) note on the inside of the book to personalize it. Your husband was a treasure to the world and I read his daddy book 2 or 3 times and took 3 to 4 pages of notes. It has helped me tremendously and the parenting of my daughters. My deepest condolences to you in your grief. He was a great man of God and I praise Jesus Christ for the fruitful life he lived. God bless you, Jason Grant

My dearest Nancy, please accept my deepest condolences. I pray that our lovely JESUS will comfort your lion heart in this time of grief, for your beloved Robert. GOD has used you and your union to brother Robert, to bring joy to countless women like me over the years through some of our most difficult periods in life. I pray that you will actually get to read this little note one day because I'am sure you will recieve millions of messages. This is my first time writing to you but your gentle,yet powerful ministry, has seen me through many a lonely, tearful days. The ministry that the Lord has entrusted to me now, bare traces of your Christ focused love and unwavering commitment, to spreading the true Word of GOD, in our world today. May your heart be cradled in the strong, loving arms of JESUS at this time. " The Lord is near to the broken hearted." Nancy siento mucho la perdida de tu Amado Esposo que Dios te fortalezca y llene de su Paz en estos tiempos tan dificiles ciertamente sabemos que esto es temporal pero aun asi no deja de doler ver partir un ser muy amado no hay palabras que quiten tu dolor pero oro porque Dios llene tu corazon de su paz sobrenatural te consuele con su Amor.
