Notes of encouragement for
Nancy and tributes to Robert
Nancy I came to know you through a Bible study, Seeking Him, I led years ago. I respected your sound Bible teaching. I am so grateful God gave you ten years with Robert. He sounded like a gem!! I will be praying for you as you sorely miss your beloved husband. May the Comforter comfort you as grief rolls in unexpectedly. Praise God we have the assurance of heaven through faith in Jesus! Your husband suffers no more and is “safe “ in the arms of Jesus. Love & Prayers, Linda Aluise
Dear Sister in the Lord Nancy, The same radio station that airs your program, Revive Our Hearts, is the same program where I joined your daily Bible reading (reading through the Bible in 1 year) . As I was looking over the email on today's scripture, I saw another email concerning God calling your husband, Robert home. I know God makes no mistakes even though we don't understand all His ways at the time they are happening. May God bring you and your family strength, peace, comfort and clarity and the help you need to get through this time of loss. You are a great blessing to me. I will be praying for you. Your sister in Christ, Dianne Cummings Fort Worth, Texas I am so very sorry
He was a great inspiration to live for Christ in good times and bad times. Thank God for giving him the grace to be a great example!
Dear Nancy, Robert (and you) has been such a blessing to many people and especially to my family, Church and friends here in Chiapas, México. We have read Robert"s books as well as yours and heard ROH podcasts. You meant a Lot to us and we we're praying for Robert during this past days. Now we grieve with you as members of the same Body, Christ' Holy Body, but not as people who don't have Hope...and we also praise the Lord because He rules! We know that Robert is in our Lord's Hands and we pray He gives you all strenght and Comfort during this time. Love, Cécile.
Nancy, I don’t know if you remember me. My friend Cheryl Garr and I were inseparable during my LAM days on the blue team 1986-1988. When I met you for the first time years ago, God used you in my life to teach me many lessons I so needed to learn. I’ve watched your life and have been so challenged by your faithfulness and love for God and His word. Watching you through social media with the trials you have gone through with Robert’s cancer and now this is a testament to the grace of God in your life. Thank you for walking in such a faithful way to give God all the honor and glory in every aspect of life. May God richly bless you as you grieve the love of your life of 10 years. My prayers are with you and thank you for being a faithful servant of Christ. My life has been impacted by you and I will never be the same again. Praise God for godly women such as you who are examples for us to follow. Ephesians 3:20
Hi Nancy, My condolences to you and your family. Sending you love, comfort and prayers for you and your family. Sincerely, Melissa
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Let the tears flow, God collects them in a bottle. God's peace and comfort is neverending. Your heart aches for your beloved DH, but you rest in the peace that he is now in Heaven. God bless you with peace and comfort.
Dear Nancy, I used to listen to you many years ago when I was single, before my marriage and after my divorce mostly. You were such a strong faithful woman of God. You were patient and you trusted God’s plan. Your story gave us hope when you got married at a later age in life. It was beautiful. I read a book called Lady in Waiting, you were exactly that. I’m so very sorry for your loss. It’s heart breaking but we know God comforts his people, and that you are surrounded by lots of loving people. I’m sure you are treasuring your 10 years of marriage and every moment you shared with Robert. God has the best plan. I know you will continue being a faithful servant doing His work, glorifying God. Sending love and prayers your way!
Dear Nancy and family, we are saddened by the news and still encouraged by the hopeful words you have shared with us for the past days, while facing Mr. Robert's illness. We pray that the Lord comforts you in a gracious way, and keep renewing the hope of Heaven in your hearts.
To God be the glory, great things He has done! And He will continue to do. Praying for Nancy and the family during this season of earthly loss. Heaven rules!
May the Lord Nancy preaches and live for comfort and be near you and the entire family. In my prayers 🙏. Psalm 116:15 ESV [15] Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 34:18 ESV [18] The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
He is going to missed at the TW conferences for his cute cuddle ups to Nancy and his encouragement to the partner’s. I’m so Happy the Lord gave my friend Nancy, a wonderful gift for hundreds or maybe thousands of days. Their beginning Glorified God, and certainly his last days Glorified God. Such a beautiful example to all of us. 🥹❤️Love you Nancy.
Gracias
Nancy, in your single years you taught me how to live out the gospel as a single woman. When God placed Robert in your life he taught me how an earthly Father should live in Christ and walk daily with Him.
Abrazo
He was a true inspiration in my life. I enjoyed listening to the stories that you would talk about he was an early bird. It was so beautiful how he loved you so much and you loved him. I’m so happy when he came into your life. The last that I saw him with you was at the True Woman conference 25. It was such an honor to be there. Thank you Robert for all that you have done for all of us.
I met Robert while in college and attending First United Methodist church in Waco, TX. He was a leader at Word Publishing and in our church, and met with a group of college students regularly to challenge us in our walks with the Lord. I remember how much I respected him for his faith, marriage, and ministry, and how sharp he looked in the first “power pink” dress shirt I’d ever seen! He had a huge influence in my life during those days, and later helping me raise my daughters through his book “She Calls Me Daddy.” I am praying for you, Nancy, and for the entire Wolgemuth family. Thank you for showing us how to grieve, but not as those without hope, as Robert showed us how to live, and die, as a true follower of Jesus.
