Notes of encouragement for Nancy and tributes to Robert
Grace and dignity- these are what the Lord has blessed you with….but I sorrow with you as you go softly through the days to come. May the Lord carry you and lift you - I wish you comfort and peace. ✝️🙏💜
Hi Nancy, My heart mourns with you and your family as you grieve your husband this side of heaven. I cannot imagine the roller coaster of emotion you may have now, and as time heals your heart. But my prayer as you walk this season out, is that you remember, and are comforted knowing, His grace is sufficient for the day. It is made make perfect in weakness, and He will help you do all things, even here ❤️ You are a blessing, and my prayers and love are with you all. In Him, Krista Epperley
Hey Nancy! I am praying for you during this time of mourning. Pray for me, too. My wife Jenny suddenly and unexpectedly died this past February. I and my three children are still mourning; still learning how to live without her. I am fondly remembering our days in the College Republicans at Liberty U. God bless you richly. To be absent from the body IS to be present with the Lord! This is our HOPE! We grieve, but not as those who have no hope. What a comfort to know that Robert is completely free of pain, sickness, and sin and is alive in heaven! Nancy, Missy, Julie, and family, You are in our prayers as we are saddened for your heartache as you miss your precious husband and loving earthly dad. We know and believe that God draws near to those who are broken hearted and carries you as He promises to carry the Ewes who are with young. (Isaiah 40:11) With prayers that God will strengthen you to shine His gospel to many who come to the service to honor Robert. Love and prayers, Chris and Julie Juvinall
I am thankful to also have met Robert, even though I did not know him well, he left an impression of uprightness and humility. On our staff summit in 2024, I received a Bible edited by Robert (Men’s Daily Bible) but the cover was torn. I asked Robert to sign in a special message for my husband and upon seeing the torn cover he immediately promised to get me a new one. The staff summit was a busy week with a demanding program, especially for Robert and Nancy. Despite this, and the logistics of getting the cover from wherever Robert had them (it needed to be collected from somewhere), on the last day of the summit my cover was received. I will always remember him for this kindness. It was a testimony of his character, his word and his servanthood.
Mis más sinceras condolencias para Nancy y familia de Robert. Él Señor les fortalezca de a sus corazones lo que cada uno necesita. Reciban un caluroso abrazo. Bendiciones.
Dear Nancy, God teach me with your life (Robert and You) How to serve others, how Heaven Rules and be prepare for the death; my 24 years old son, Daniel, passed away 10 months ago, so my heart and prayers are now with You and his family, a Big hug from Colombia.
Nancy lamento el dolor que está viviendo con la pérdida de su amado esposo. Demostrar fe cuando todo va bien es fácil y usted se ha mantenido fiel aún en el sufrimiento, con todo respeto y admiración su hermana en Cristo.
Nancy, thank you for sharing how the Lord opened up your heart to receive Robert into your life. That story has inspired me as a young single woman to wait patiently for whomever the Lord may decide to lead me to open my heart to. Thank you for sharing your life experiences and your Bible teaching with the world. I pray that you will be comforted by the words from Ms. Ada Habershon's hymn, "He Will Hold Me Fast": Christ will hold you fast. For your Savior loves you so, He will hold you fast.
Solo quiero que sepa, que su historia y testimonio han bendecido mi vida en gran manera, y solo espero que el Señor siga levantando más hombres y mujeres como ustedes, matrimonios en donde Dios sea glorificado 🙌
Nancy I did not have the opportunity to meet you but will hold you in my prayers as you grieve the loss of Robert. He changed our lives Ron Land deceased 2008 and myself Karen Land Farley. He hired both of us at Word Inc and accepted both of us at Word and started our career in Publishing as well as Ron and Robert teaching Sunday School at First Methodist Church. Such a Man of God who was Humble, Caring, Servant of God. I worked as Roberts assistant with the Ministries. Gave me the opportunity to continue with our Authors for 35 years. A very Special Friend for many years. Prayers for his girls and entire family and you Nancy his beloved.
May God give you strength during this difficult moment. I can only imagine how deeply you will miss your dear Robert after his passing. May the Lord’s presence bring comfort and peace to your soul. You and your family are in my prayers. "The Lord is our Shepherd"
Dear Nancy and family, with our deepest heartfelt sympathies we are praying for you all. We do not know each other, but through the reach of the ministry we have been connected as though we are friends and have know each other for years. We are deeply moved by the transparency, humility, and grace that you have show to us as you mourn for Robert’s graduation into glory. We continue to pray God’s comfort and blessings be with you.
Dear Nancy, My deep condolences for the lost of your husband Robert. May God grant you His strength and everlasting love during all this process. I have been following Revive Our Hearts since pandemy and I am so sorry to read this sad news. Sending you a warm hug from Villavicencio, Colombia. Melba Moreno
Tribute to Robert Although I never met him in person, I feel I can state with certainty that Robert Wolgemuth was a precious and godly man, who will be dearly missed, and who made quite an impact on those who knew and loved him. My knowledge of Robert began with my knowledge of Nancy. My family went through a very difficult situation, years ago, and Revive Our Hearts ministered to me in a deep and rescuing way (Nancy’s staff through emails, and Nancy through her broadcasts). I prayed that one day Nancy would find a godly spouse - if that were God‘s will - and that he would be someone worthy of her - a tall request! (Robert eventually pursued Nancy and they married…) When Nancy announced one day that Robert was looking for women to partner with him on a launch team for his book, Like the Shepherd, I prayerfully decided to take part (I had also prayed that Robert might write a book to mentor men, as Nancy had done for women). What a blessing it was to be on this launch team! Some of us women ended up participating in the Facebook group created for the launch team. In this group, we were able to interact with Robert directly regarding the book as we read its initial transcript and gave input. Robert was so humble! And godly, and kind. Just a joy to work with. He took time to answer our individual comments and genuinely considered our input (including a nobody’s like mine!). In recent days, I’ve read so many comments from people that confirm Robert’s godly character. Truly, God gave Nancy a husband who was worthy of her (by God’s grace!). I am very thankful to have “known” and interacted with Robert. His book, Like the Shepherd, is a tender and insightful book about the shepherding role of men in marriage — a much needed resource for men, in my opinion. It sounds like Robert truly lived out the contents of this book in his marriage to Nancy! I pray the Lord will bless Nancy’s continuing ministry on this earth, even though her beloved Robert has gone on to be with Jesus. She is the richer for having been married to him; likewise he the richer for having married her. God’s grace for them both, and for us the onlookers. I am very thankful for Nancy and Robert , and for their powerful impact on my life. With love in Christ, Leslie S. “The remembrance of the righteous is a blessing…” Proverbs 10:7a CSB
You are in my prayers. Especially in the days and weeks ahead. In the quiet moments when it’s overwhelming. Praying that God brings you comfort and rest.
Nancy I do not know you but have read your books and they have impacted my life. I am truly sorry for their loss passing of Robert. I am thankful for the hope we have in Jesus that we will see our sweet loved ones again. It doesn’t make walking that out easy by any measure this side of heaven. I am praying for you and asking the God of all comfort to hold you and bring you peace in the coming days, weeks and months. God Bless you.
I had the privilege of knowing Robert since the 1970s when he was at Word, Inc in Waco, and Charisma magazine was just getting off the ground. Over the years I saw him often at CBA and ECPA events and we became friends. During this time I knew his father who served on the board of Christian Life Missions. Around 2000 the Wolgemuth family moved to my hometown, Orlando. I was honored that he and his wife attended the dedication of our new headquarters around that time. I'll remember him as a man who was a class act, who was deeply spiritual and very talented. I thank God for his life.
