Dear Nancy, As I was reading your post today, I felt so encouraged, I saw the Lord’s hand working within you to give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. What a beautiful testament of our hope in Christ and the blessed gift of eternal life in Him. My family and I are keeping you in our prayers.
Dear Nancy, your marriage has been a great example and help to me; I embrace you with all my heart.
Your and Robert’s story is very much like my friend Jane Bridges and her husband Jerry. Like Robert, he was an author and he lost his wife to cancer. Jane had never been married. Like you two they ministered together until the Lord called Jerry home. Praying for you Nancy. Thank you for your example of faith throughout all the circumstances and seasons of life.
Dear Nancy, My heart broke as I heard the news. I love you. I will be in prayer for you. Thank you for showing us wives how to respect, and honor our husbands. I learned a lot from you. God keep you and protect you. God comfort you as He is our perfect comforter.

My heart has been heavy all day as I have thought of the pain and sense of loss you must be feeling. I have seen my own Mom go through it and felt the long-term effects myself along with her. In the same breathe, I have known God to be the Father to the fatherless and seen Him work as the Husbandman to the widow. I have seen Him take care of our little family in ways that can only be supernatural movements of His loving hands. Scripture shows us His special love for both of these groups. I have felt His presence as if He was walking amongst us physically. I know you will also experience His grace and love and peace and abiding presence in new ways. Robert’s ministry will continue through the lives that He touched and impacted. His story has been an encouragement to me although we never met. Please know that Mom and I are thinking about you often and consistent in prayer as you experience this difficult time. Your posts on Caring Bridge have been an encouragement to so many. No te conozco, pero en el último año has sido ese recordatorio constante de que Dios no abandona y cumple su propósito. A través de ti, de tus libros y programas me ha dado la fortaleza y la firmeza para no rendirme. Hoy me uno a miles que estamos orando por ti, es increíble como Jesús une corazones, que quizá nunca se conozcan, en un mismo sentir. Gracias por ser ejemplo de fe, fortaleza y alabanza a nuestro Dios. Oro para que sea el mismo Señor Jesús quien te abrace y consuele.
