Notes of encouragement for Nancy and tributes to Robert
Dear Nancy, You have always been such an encouragement to me. You consistently pointed me to Jesus and to His Word, and even now, in this difficult season, you continue to direct our hearts back to Him. I’m praying for comfort and strength for you and your family. I’m so grateful for the hope we have in Jesus. “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” Love you, dear sister.
My condolences. I know that God is with our beloved sister Nancy and also our brother Robert is already in the presente of God. He already won the carrer to God be the glory.
Nancy, I have followed you on Revive Our Hearts for years and today my heart breaks for you. I know you will see Robert again some day, but for today there are tears. I know our Lord will comfort you as only He can, but I want you to know that I’m praying for you. God bless you.
Dear Nancy, I remembered when you both married, I was in tears because of what you have poured into so many women. To have loved this way and be loved again brings me to tears. May the Lord give you great comfort during this trial. I love you Nancy and this ministry!

Nancy, You are an encouragement to me regularly on Moody Radio. I heard you and Robert at a True Women Conference in Indianapolis, probably in 2018, a year I was receiving 12 months of chemo, radiation, surgery and physical therapy for breast cancer. I am a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship in hard-to-reach places encouraging those who seek the least reached children and parents. I am a widow remarried. I will pray for you regularly, knowing the grief, emptiness and sometimes loneliness that comes with widowhood. I am sad with you, but know with you that Robert is with our wonderful Lord.

My condolences to you Nancy and family as you mourn the lost of your husband (DH) best friend and partner in life and the gospel edifying work of teaching, encouraging in kingdom building. I never had the privilege of meeting you and your husband in person but since a friend shared with me "Receive Our Hearts" resources via email, videos of various ministries and testimonies, I feel as though I know you personally. Thank you and your late husband for helping people around the globe to get to know the true God. 🕊️🙏

Praising and thanking our Lord for His sustaining and redeeming grace in each of our lives, and for the life and testimony of Robert, as well as His grace in allowing Nancy and the rest of Robert’s family to grieve in ways that honor our Lord. Thank you for sharing your stories and lives with us, and for repeatedly pointing us to Christ! I know that ROH is a ministry primarily for women, but it has been a blessing and encouragement to me for several years, especially as I went through a struggling marriage for approximately 20 years that eventually resulted in an unwanted, unbiblical divorce 3 years ago. I was counseled by a believing friend who is also a probate judge whom I sought out for wisdom and advice shortly after my ex-wife filed for divorce in the fall of 2021 that the world needs to see how a Christian responds to an unwanted, unbiblical divorce (which I believe is true, but not what I necessarily wanted to hear at that time), and I believe the same is true here. Praying for God’s continued grace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead, & that you will all grieve well, & that our Lord will continue to be glorified in all of this, as He already has been. Thank you for your faithfulness, which I know you will say with me that anything good you or I or any of us have or can do is all because of and by Him! Soli Deo Gloria!
