Notes of encouragement for Nancy and tributes to Robert

My heart goes out to Nancy and all who loved and will miss Robert. It is so true....Grief is hard but God is good and he's home. I believe Heaven is always a bit sweeter each time a child of the King is called home. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and all the Revive Our Hearts Family. God bless all y'all!

Dear Nancy, i prayed for you, honestly a lot times when i went to prayed I mentioned about you to Jesus, because i am a divorced woman, when i prayed i said Jesus, please Would you give an oppotunity for a new husband like to Nancy? give me My Roberth . honestly i am sad but the God´s plans it will be better than ours always. Sé que es una mujer de fé, pero también humana y mujer, con sentimientos donde hoy sin duda pasa por momentos de dolor ante la partida terrenal de su esposo Robert y a su vez gozosa de que él está alabando a Dios eternamente. Nuestras oraciones para que Dios pueda consolar su corazón, tome su tiempo de duelo, de fortaleza y descanso en el Señor, para seguir siendo instrumento útil en sus manos, llegando a los corazones de muchas de nosotras. I have known Robert since the 1980's, though, amazingly, his family lived on the same street as mine in Wheaton when I was in grade school and Robert was in college. Though our paths did not cross much for decades, they did on occasion and in significant ways. About 15 years ago, that changed. Our team has worked very closely with the agency he started. Robert was a strong and influential leader that garnered the trust of authors and publishers alike. He was kind, gentle, yet savvy and gifted in his trade. He will be missed. Dear Nancy, I am from Mexico. I am a wife and mother of two, and I have been a listener of your ministry for several years. Although as daughters of God we rejoice because in the Lord we have the eternal hope of enjoying and worshiping our God together in His glorious presence, where there is no more crying, pain, or sickness, I grieve with you because I cannot imagine the natural pain of saying goodbye, even for a moment, to your faithful and best friend, your husband. However, thank God that it is not a goodbye, but a see you soon, soon when we will be reunited with our Redeemer and King. And by the way, it will be a great pleasure to finally meet you in person. For now, I ask the Lord to embrace you with His love, joy, and peace, that now more than ever you may be filled with His tender presence and the power of His word. Dear Nancy, My heart breaks for you as you have said, farewell, to your dear Robert. Of course there is much rejoicing for him, but many tears for you as you continue your journey through life without him. As Psalm 98:1 says “ O sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done wonderful things, His right hand ( Jesus) and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.” There are so many songs in life that we would say no thank you to! But the Lord continues to open new doors for ministry with every passing test. When I got the announcement of Robert’s home going, the thought came to me that you have received admittance into yet another arena of life…daughter, sister, friend, single woman, married woman and now, widow…allowing you to have a greater understanding of what it really feels like to be in that place of life. Your ministry has been such a huge blessing to me, and my husband…to continue to press in to Jesus and live life according to His ways. We have been married for 59 years and I think the past few have been the best…mainly because the Lord has shown His way more clearly than ever…your daily podcasts serve to bring my heart back to His way of peace and joy and Godly thinking. I am so thankful to have known and worked with Robert. It was a blessing to be able to have talked and spent time with him at "Revive Our Hearts" this past year. Robert has touched the lives of so many. I am praying for Nancy and all of the family and friends, but I am grateful to know that Robert is in heaven.
The marriage weekend last year was very nice. ❤️ 🙏
I am sorry for your loss, and in the midst of the pain, I wanted to thank you both for been a role model and a live example of a biblical marriage. Dear Nancy, My name is Denisse, and I am from Mexico City. I am truly sorry for your loss. Please know that I have been a dedicated listener to your podcasts for several years. Your words have been so encouraging and helpful. I thank God for your life, and I believe that these temporary sorrows will also serve as encouragement to many others who face similar trials. Last year, I gave my husband a copy of Robert's Bible for Men. He is reading it this year with me, and we are both studying the Bible in 2026. You can't imagine how much of a miracle that is. Nancy, Knowing your beloved is safe in the arms of Jesus must bring your heart much peace and joy, I know that you will also be filled with sadness and pain for the coming days. As you start this new chapter that God has written, I want you to know that I am praying constantly for you and your family. No es fácil pero se que El Señor te ama y hay tristeza pero también esperanza te quiero regalar Eclesiastés 3: 11-12. Quiero que medites en estos versículos Pido al Señor de su poder y su fuerza para que recibas la Paz del Señor, sabiendo que El estará siempre contigo y nunca te dejará.
