I didn't know Robert personally, but from what I do know of him reminds me of the Apostle Paul in Philippians saying that Christ would be "highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Heartfelt prayers for Nancy and for Robert's daughters and the rest of the family and friends.

Si bien no podamos escapar del profundo dolor humano que en estos momentos debes sentir estoy cierta y segura, de que el infinito y maravilloso Amor de Dios, esta y estara junto a ti. Eres una hija del Señor, como nunca antes vi en mi vida. El ministerio que El Señor te ha entregado , esta arraigado en mi corazon profundamente y se que todas tus " hermanas en la fe ", estamos junto a ti en estos momentos. Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about Robert’s passing. Since I learned of the news of Robert being hospitalized, You and your family has been in my thoughts and prayers. I will be holding you close in my heart as you move through this new season of life.
Dear Nancy I pray that your soul finds the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are a role model for me after Jesus, and my mentor and counselor. I long for the day when my marriage will be a model like yours. I bless you from Mexico City, and we pray for you. My 11-year-old daughter also listens to you faithfully. I have followed Nancy for a few years now through Revive Our Hearts. When God gave Nancy Robert I was thrilled for her. And followed their lives as they followed Jesus together. They were precious together. My heart is sad this side of glory for Nancy. BUT God isn't done with her story. We will still learn through her grief as we follow because the gift of Grace through Christ alone in her life is SO apparent. Prayers are with you Nancy and Robert's children during this time. I write this with tears as I know your grief. My husband of 52 years died 7 years ago while we lived with our daughter in Indianapolis, Rebecca Leachman Doud. He too is with the Lord. You, Life Action Ministry and Revive Our Hearts have ministered to me since 1989 at Spring Baptist Church. When my Robert died I felt part of me was missing. I realized that in marriage two truly become one completely. I look forward to heaven to be with Jesus worshiping Him again with my Robert and the whole church family. My deep and heartfelt sympathies are with you, Nancy, and all who loved Robert. I started singing "Come to Jesus" on Saturday morning while I was doing household chores. The Lord speaks to me so much through music. This song's meaning was special to me at my baptism just 5 years ago this month, and now will also remind me of Robert's life and eternal life.

Dearest Nancy I opened the Revive Our Hearts website and found out about your husband passing away. My eyes instantly filled with tears as I thought of you. Know that I am praying for you and that God will help you through. You are such an encouragment to me, thank you for all that you do for others and for the glory of Jesus. May He be your comfort during this difficult time. What a joy it is to know that soon we, God's children, will all be in glorious eternity together. May God bless you richly. La Gloria sea para Él Señor que guió la vida de Robert y atravez de el nos deja un legado de Amor, Pasion, entrega por Él Señor, sigo este hermoso ministerio de aviva nuestros corazones desde hace 10 años y he conocido por medio de cada enseñanza, el amor por el evangelio, la palabra, las mujeres, la familia; de Nancy su entrega, amor, confianza y obediencia al Señor. Me uno en oración para que El Señor derrame su paz, gracias y amor sobre la vida de Nancy y le continúe fortaleciendo mientras vive este proceso doloroso pero con la alegría de que su amado esposo dejó esta tierra para ir al encuentro con Él Señor, ha vuelto a casa. Su matrimonio con Robert me regalo el poder entender cuando tengo diferencias con mi esposo que necesitamos correr a la Cruz para q Él Señor continúe glorificandose en nuestras vidas, dos pecadores que nos hemos unido delante del Señor decididos a caminar juntos mientras Él escribe nuestra historia. Dear Nancy, Love is the reason for the deepest sorrow but it's also the reason for the ddeepest joy. In truth I cannot feel your grieve but I know the our Lord Jesus Christ will cover all of your feelings with His Love. So often His ways are so different from our hopes. Dear Nancy, I think I have listened to you since you started Revive Our Hearts. I love your daily broadcast and I just purchased your note taking bible. I have been praying for you since I heard the news Robert was very sick in the hospital. With all the prayers from everyone praying for youand Robert- I thought the Lord would send a miraculous recovery and Robert would be a healthy man once again. Many times God's ways are not our ways. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways..." Isaiah 55:8(CSB) I will continue to pray as you grieve for your beloved husband for 10 years. I will also pray that you will have time to grieve and will be able to have others take over your ministry as you gain renewed grace and strength. "I will heal your broken heart and mend all your wounds."
