Notes of encouragement for Nancy and tributes to Robert
Daer Nancy I've been following ROH for many years and it means so much to me. You feel like a dear friend in my house. I can remember you and Robert's wedding well. You both looked so beautiful and radiantly happy. I was so glad for you. I am from SA. Last year I travelled all on my own to attend the "Wonder of the Word" conference. I was blessed so much. It was one of the highlights of my life. Seeing you and Robert on the stage made me feel like I know the two of you personally. I truely feel sad for your loss. I will keep on praying for you. You are not "Home" yet, but you ARE safe. I know that God will be taking good care of His precious daughter. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you truely live what you preach. It is not something that you often see. Through all your tears...and every other emotion... you keep on saying: "Yes, Lord". You are a very special woman. Sending lots of love Monica Bester

Damos gracias a Dios por la vida de su esposo Robert y por la suya 🙏 No puedo imaginar lo que está sintiendo ante esta separación, pero nuestro Señor Jesucristo si, y Él es nuestra fuerza y sostén. Se que está gozosa porque su amado esposo está descansando de su sufrimiento , pero también sé que duele y mucho 😔, aunque no por experiencia propia. La abrazo con el tierno amor de Cristo, seguiremos en oración por usted y la familia y todos los dolientes.
May the peace of God fulfill your heart with the beautiful hope we have in Christ. Whoever believes in me, Though he may die, will live, What a glorious hope!!! Thank you Jesus because Robert is alive in your presence, and Nancy in the most difficult days can rest in that promise. Until eternity our dear brother!

Precious sister Nancy, I’m in tears at your loss, while being in praise of Heaven’s gain! I felt so privileged to meet Robert with you at the conference in ‘22 (?). I have prayed for you both, (and your whole family), nightly as I will continue to do. God’s timing and plans are so hard to understand today, but as your book Heaven Rules proclaims, trusting them is the only way to embrace a full, joyful and purposeful life. Thank you for being such a beautiful example. Lifting you up in prayer more than ever as you grieve and begin your healing process. Hope you can somehow feel our love for you precious Nancy. It’s huge. ❤️
Dear Nancy, We have never met, but years ago I was a fellow student with your husband at Taylor University. I still remember he and his brother singing beautiful duets in chapel, including “God is so Wonderful .” Even then, his walk with the Lord was exemplary. I gave my life to Christ on Taylor’s campus back in 1966. However, in 2008, God used your CD, “Revive Us Again,“ to transform my walk with the Lord.… No more “fast food” devotions! God has given my husband and me our own incredible journey in walking with Him, and as a wife, mother, and grandmother, I am so very grateful for the blessing and impact that God gave you both upon our lives. Thank you and know that we will be praying that God will give you His strength, peace, and comfort in these days ahead. ❤️🙏

We are praying for you Nancy! Your ministry taught me so much about Jesus as a new Christian and seeing your marriage and love for Robert these last 10 years has been wonderful! We are praying for you and for Robert’s children and grandchildren as you grieve the loss of your husband, Father, and grandfather. We are mourning with you and love you!
Dearest Sister in Christ, you are an inspiration. I am a single, 62 year old woman. When Robert sought you out to court you, I was encouraged and so happy for you. I was privileged to watch your wedding, then to listen online as you navigated marriage. Your lives blessed and motivated others to follow Christ through whatever circumstances. Please know your name is being lifted before the father, and I'm praying for his daughters and families as well. Your heart is broken, but God is present.
I was so inspired by Robert & Nancy's love story. I am so glad they had 10 years of marriage together! I never really knew of Robert & Bobbie before Robert courted Nancy. What a great testimony & lessons shared through both love stories. I have prayed for you all and was sad for what you were going through, but what a great hope you all had that he was going to heaven. I am thankful for all the books & words of wisdom Robert left behind.
Robert truly glorified God through this message: "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's". Romans 14:8 May the Lord continue to use the testimony of his life and his passing to draw people to the feet of Christ.

My heart goes out to Nancy and all who loved and will miss Robert. It is so true....Grief is hard but God is good and he's home. I believe Heaven is always a bit sweeter each time a child of the King is called home. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and all the Revive Our Hearts Family. God bless all y'all!

Dear Nancy, i prayed for you, honestly a lot times when i went to prayed I mentioned about you to Jesus, because i am a divorced woman, when i prayed i said Jesus, please Would you give an oppotunity for a new husband like to Nancy? give me My Roberth . honestly i am sad but the God´s plans it will be better than ours always. Sé que es una mujer de fé, pero también humana y mujer, con sentimientos donde hoy sin duda pasa por momentos de dolor ante la partida terrenal de su esposo Robert y a su vez gozosa de que él está alabando a Dios eternamente. I have known Robert since the 1980's, though, amazingly, his family lived on the same street as mine in Wheaton when I was in grade school and Robert was in college. Though our paths did not cross much for decades, they did on occasion and in significant ways. About 15 years ago, that changed. Our team has worked very closely with the agency he started. Robert was a strong and influential leader that garnered the trust of authors and publishers alike. He was kind, gentle, yet savvy and gifted in his trade. He will be missed. Dear Nancy, I am from Mexico. I am a wife and mother of two, and I have been a listener of your ministry for several years. Although as daughters of God we rejoice because in the Lord we have the eternal hope of enjoying and worshiping our God together in His glorious presence, where there is no more crying, pain, or sickness, I grieve with you because I cannot imagine the natural pain of saying goodbye, even for a moment, to your faithful and best friend, your husband. However, thank God that it is not a goodbye, but a see you soon, soon when we will be reunited with our Redeemer and King. And by the way, it will be a great pleasure to finally meet you in person. For now, I ask the Lord to embrace you with His love, joy, and peace, that now more than ever you may be filled with His tender presence and the power of His word.
