“My husband and I make decisions on the budget together. But I have ways of getting everything I want.”
Nancy Leigh DeMoss: It might seem risky to choose to submit to the leadership of your husband, but it’s not really a risk for a wife who trusts God. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He will.”
God can direct the decisions of kings, presidents . . . and your husband! When a wife gives up control and supports her husband’s decisions, she’s really saying, “Lord, I believe You’re in control and can handle this situation.”
“But I realized I need to back off and trust God to help my husband make decisions.”
