Dad’s Mouthwatering Caramel Popcorn Recipe
1 stick margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Karo Syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 big pan of popcorn
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Put the margarine, brown sugar, Karo Syrup, and salt in a four-cup glass measuring cup. Cook it for two minutes in the microwave, stir it, and put it back in for one miute. Immediately add the baking soda. Stir and pour over the popcorn. (This is where I, Paula, finish the process. My dad, however continues.) Put the popcorn in a big brown paper bag, shake it, and put it in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on high. Shake and repeat. Cool and eat.
