Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: Do you ever feel like your life is out of control?
Woman: Dinner’s not made; the house is a mess; my daughter has a science project due tomorrow. It’s four in the afternoon, and I’m still in pajamas!
Nancy: Maybe you can you relate. Well, imagine trying to handle the details of the whole universe! Psalm 104 describes the way nature surrenders to God.
The oceans stay within the boundaries He’s established for them. The grass and the trees grow according to God’s direction. The sun and moon keep their appointed seasons. And what’s the result? Verse 13 tells us that “the earth is satisfied.” To surrender to the Creator’s control provides blessing, fullness, and peace.
Have you surrendered control to the Creator of the universe? Why not take some time to read Psalm 104? Then pray and surrender every part of your life to the control of our wise, loving Creator.
