Leslie Basham: Kathy Helvey was a devoted wife and mom, involved in ministry to families. She went home to be with the Lord this past April. Those who were with her in her final weeks remember the peace that controlled her life, even while she suffered from the effects of leukemia. Kathy describes the source of that peace.

Kathy Helvey: There’s a verse in Psalm 94 and it says, “When my anxious thoughts consume me, thy consolations delight my soul" (verse 19). To me, consolation is what He says, what He promises.
