Kelly Sites


Kelly Sites has been a Registered Nurse for twenty-three years and has worked with Samaritan’s Purse since 2010 as a Disaster Assistance Response (DART) Nurse. Kelly has served all over the world on over nineteen deployments including four deployments for Ebola in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, two trips to Iraq in the Emergency Field Hospital outside of Mosul, Iraq, Haiti for Cholera, Bangladesh for Diphtheria in the Rohingya refugee camp, Ecuador after the earthquake, Vanuatu, Tanzania, Philippines, and many more.

In September of 2019 Kelly served in the Bahamas as the Emergency Field Hospital Director after Hurricane Dorian, where Samaritan’s Purse treated over 7500 patients. Most recently, she served in Cremona, Italy where she spent a month caring for COVID patients in the Respiratory Care Unit Samaritan’s Purse set up. Kelly also serves as a DART and Ebola trainer, and is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Kelly is happily married and lives with her husband and twenty-one year-old twins in Lansing, Michigan.
