Martin and Helen were high school sweethearts and married in 1979 after finishing college. Helen has a degree in Elementary Education and taught at a Christian School for three years before having children. Thankfully, she was able to stay home with their four girls and one son.
In 2004, Martin accepted the call to work full time with Revive Our Hearts, and they moved from Nebraska to Michigan. Once kids left the nest, Helen worked part-time at their church as the Children's Ministry Director for fourteen years. In 2022, she felt it was time to "transition" (can't quite call it retire) to being with their seventeen grandkids more. Helen loves serving Martin here at home and being able to invest time with their sweet family.
