Are you a women's ministry director serving in a local church? If so, this retreat is for you! Step away from the demands of ministry for a time of encouragement, refreshment, and renewal at The Lodge: a scenic riverfront estate in Buchanan, Michigan. Led by Revive Our Hearts staff, these retreats are designed to encourage and refresh you, provide valuable ministry insights, and foster interaction with other like-minded women. Sessions cover:

Location

Front of The Lodge

The Lodge, an 82-acre french country estate, is located in southwest Michigan alongside the St. Joseph River. Surrounded by forest, the property is secluded between a country club and Life Action's National Ministry Center.

Interior of The Lodge

All accommodations have a queen size bed, a full private bath, a desk, and a large closet. There are eight rooms, including two in the adjacent Briar Patch building and one in the adjacent Beehive building. The main building has one deluxe suite with a sitting area and a view of the river. Rooms at the Lodge are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Sarah Stevenson is passionate about encouraging women in their walk with Jesus Christ. She has been married to her husband Greg for over twenty-seven years. Sarah was a stay-at-home-mom for almost twenty years, and has three grown children. Prior to joining the Revive Our Hearts staff, Sarah served as the women's ministry director of a church in Indiana for six-and-a-half years. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, music, theatre, and the beauty of God's creation.

Carrie Gaul is a biblical correspondent for Revive Our Hearts, a Bible teacher, speaker, and author of Joy in the Midst, a Bible study on Philippians. She and her husband Dennis have two grown children. Carrie has a deep love for God's Word and a passion to see women grow in ever-increasing intimacy with Jesus through the study and application of His Word. She enjoys discipling and encouraging women and has had the privilege of ministering to women in Africa and China. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys walking, reading, and chatting over coffee.

Sarah Krause is a biblical correspondent for Revive Our Hearts. She and her husband, Franklin, have two sons and four grandchildren. Sarah teaches a weekly Bible Study and serves on the women's ministry leadership team at her church in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has a heart for women's ministry directors, having served in that position herself. Sarah's life verse, Psalm 73:25, expresses her primary motivation and love in this life, "Whom have I in Heaven but Thee, and besides Thee I desire nothing on earth."

Andrea Griffith loves to share out of the overflow of her own daily time with God. Currently she serves alongside her husband, Trent, as they plant Harvest Bible Chapel, Granger, Indiana, where he serves as pastor. They spent fifteen years ministering in over 300 churches as part of Life Action Ministries. Together, they are a part of Family Life's Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference speaker team. Andrea graduated with a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Samford University. She and Trent have four children whom Andrea educates from their home.
