In case you hadn’t noticed, sexual temptation is everywhere. How can we say “no”? Here are a few examples.
Woman 1: Well, if I’m arrogant and I think I’m above temptation, then I get into real trouble.
Nancy: First Corinthians 10:12 says, “Let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.”
Man 1: For years I didn’t even try to fight it, but then I realized that I don’t have to give in to temptation.
Nancy: “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape.”
Woman 2: Before our first date, I already know what my limits are.
Nancy: First Peter 1, “Prepare your minds for action and be sober-minded.”
Man 2: Well, I just stay away from situations where I know I’ll be tempted.
Nancy: God will help you be morally pure as you’re in the process of seeking Him.
