Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: There are so many things we can spend time trying to know.
Woman 2: You know what I’ve memorized? Every line from every script of about six different musicals.
Nancy: Here’s what we really need to know—the ways of God. I want to know His perspective on everything— current affairs, the future, my work. I want to know what brings Him joy and what causes Him to grieve. I want to know His ways.
That’s why many days before I open the Bible, I pray these words from Psalm 25: “Show me your ways, O Lord. Teach me your paths; guide me in your truth, and teach me.”
You could spend your time today learning a lot of different things. Why don’t you take time for what’s most important, and open the Word of God? Ask Him to show you His ways.
