Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth: Do you ever find yourself making statements like these?
Woman 1: He broke a promise.
Woman 2: It was so embarrassing.
Man: I was cheated out of a lot of money!
Nancy: It’s possible to live with unforgiveness for so long that we don’t even realize it’s there.
Woman 3: She lied to me—to me!
Woman 4: I can’t believe he was cheating on me.
Nancy: Would you take a moment and let God search your heart? Is there anything or anyone that you are unwilling to forgive?
Woman 5: My grown children never even call me.
Nancy: Ephesians 4 says, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Woman 6: The hurt is real.
Woman 7: I do choose to forgive.
Woman 8: But I choose to forgive.
Woman 9: By God’s grace I will forgive.
Nancy: The next time you’re tempted to dwell on the hurtful things others have done, why not focus instead on how much God has forgiven you?
