What Small Group Studies are available through Revive Our Hearts?

Seeking Him: Experiencing The Joy of Personal Revival  is a 12-week study for
believers who long to grow closer to the Lord and to become more like Him. A companion Seeking Him DVD is also available with twelve 15-minute teaching segments by Nancy DeMoss on each of the chapters. Each session corresponds with and expands on a chapter in the workbook.

Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets Them Free this book sheds light on how women can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God’s grace, forgiveness, and abundant life. It covers lies women believe about God, about themselves, about sin, about priorities, about marriage, about children, about emotions, and about circumstances. This book offers the most effective weapon to counter and overcome Satan’s deceptions—God’s Truth.

The Companion Guide for Lies Women Believe (workbook) is designed to help you think more deeply and personally about the truths that Nancy shares in the book (Note: The book is necessary in order to go through the workbook, as the questions relate to passages you have read in the book). This ten-week study is excellent for group or personal use.

Note: The Lies Women Believe DVD is a stand-alone resource. It was taped in a conference setting before Nancy wrote the book Lies Women Believe, therefore it does not follow along with the book chapter by chapter. The DVDs are divided into three 45-minute sessions and includes a small study guide.

A 30-Day Walk With God in the Psalms is designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of the Psalms. Each day's study takes a look at a different Psalm, and helps you gain a deeper understanding of that particular Psalm. This workbook is suitable for personal study, but could also be used as a group study if desired. This is a 30-day study which can be divided into 6 weeks, with 5 daily lessons each week.

Brokenness: The Heart God Revives is the first in this trilogy, and contains six chapters, as well as a discussion guide in the back, with about three to six questions per chapter.Nancy writes about an irrefutable spiritual principle in this book: before every great movement of God there is always a time of deep repentance.

Surrender: The Heart God Controls is the second in this trilogy, and contains eight chapters, as well as a discussion guide in the back, with about three to six questions per chapter. Struggling with stubborn habits? Secret sin? The key isn’t how committed you are to the battle—it’s how surrendered you are to God.

Holiness: The Heart God Purifies is the third in this trilogy, and contains eight chapters, as well as a discussion guide in the back, with about three to six questions per chapter. If you’re longing for a deeper connection with God, you must first answer His call to holiness. Nancy shares practical principles for having a life that is set apart—and a heart that is set on fire.

The Message of Redemption and Revival in the Book of Ruth is a DVD series. The 4 DVDs were taped at a conference, and contain six sessions. A companion workbook is available that includes five days of study for each DVD session.

The Power of Words is a four-week devotional booklet about speaking with wisdom and grace. You’ll be challenged to examine your heart and to consider the consequences of your words, and you will gain practical insights on “tongue control” from the Word of God.

Speaking Engagements

How do I schedule Nancy DeMoss for an event?
Nancy’s Advisory Council is careful to weigh all speaking requests within specific parameters as a spiritual protection for Nancy since radio preparation and production, writing, and ROH Conferences take up most of her time. They recommend that she speaks at only a few engagements each year. They also select events where she can minister to the most women possible, as well as choose locations that cover the broadest spectrum of her radio audience.

If you do want to submit a speaking request, please send a letter or email with any pertinent information to:

How do I book a Revive Our Hearts Conference at my church?
Please send an email or letter with any pertinent information to the address above. We will then send you a questionnaire to fill out and return. This is a preliminary step in the process, and assists us in seeing if we would be a good fit for your church.

*We are currently unable to accept invitations for events prior to Fall 2007.

Nancy Leigh DeMoss

How can I get a response from Nancy on a personal issue?
Nancy reads each email that comes into the ministry; however, she is unable to personally write or counsel individuals due to the hundreds of emails and letters she receives each week. We have staff members, though, who are dedicated to providing biblical answers to your questions. You may email them at info@reviveourhearts.com.

Is Nancy married and does she have children?
At this point in her life, Nancy feels called to singleness (1 Corinthians 7). She has never married, therefore she has no children.

What translation of the Bible does Nancy use on the broadcasts?
Nancy uses various translations when she studies the Bible. Currently, she uses the English Standard Version on the broadcasts and in the transcripts. Previously, she has used the New Kings James Version and the New International Version.

What does Nancy think about head coverings?
Godly people have different views regarding the application of the passage concerning head coverings in 1 Corinthians 11. The Bible instructs us to avoid violating our own sense of what is right, because acting in unbelief is always sinful (Romans 14 teaches about disputable matters). Please look to the Lord for guidance as you seek to determine His will for you in this area.

Two things are clear from Paul's words: First, it is vital that Christian men and women maintain clear-cut distinctions. Men ought to be distinctly masculine, and women distinctly feminine. While masculine and feminine distinctions vary from culture to culture and era to era, the lines should not be blurred. Secondly, women are to walk in submission to God-ordained male leadership. Women demonstrate that they are in submission to God as they submit and respond to the male authority.

The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood addresses the issue of head coverings. Also, Recovering Biblical Manhood & Womanhood (by Piper and Grudem) examines 1 Corinthians 11:2-16 in chapter five, titled Head Coverings, Prophecies and the Trinity.
