Changed Lives

Every day I look forward to the fifteen minutes of inspiration and uplifting spirited message that Nancy brings into my workday through my radio headset. This program has brought laughter to my heart, tears to my eyes, not to mention pains of conviction.

I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior earlier this past year and I have been so blessed by your program. I listen everyday on my way to work and get inspiration and guidance for the day. What you do is truly a blessing. I have learned so much, and I so look forward to learning more about Noah in the coming mornings. Thank you for all you do to spread God's Word.

I have been serving on the board of our church for almost six years, and it has been a real struggle: heartbreaking and exhausting to me and our family. I have searched the Scriptures, prayed for wisdom, and sought godly council. Your programs on the church have been most affirming, encouraging, and insightful. Your ministry is a true God-send. I appreciate the heart you bring to your programs, which is quite refreshing.

I need to tell you the impact that you have had on our family life. It started with the week you spoke on respecting our husbands. I have to admit that until then my listening was hit and miss, but since that time I have listened everyday, and everyday it seems God gives you the things I need to hear for what is happening in my life.

That week changed my marriage for both of us. This week's broadcasts on 'Follow the Leaders' hit another area of need. I didn't see a fire in our church that I think is essential for continued growth. Sadly, I stopped attending church. I then realized because of things said on your broadcast that areas of weakness are with me as well, and that withdrawing is not the right response. I wanted to thank you for touching our lives and helping us with right, godly responses.

Nancy, you have been such a blessing in my life and in the lives of other women I know. The past seven years have been a real time of transition for me. When I was fifteen, I told God that I would wait for the man that He would send. There were many times that I felt like God had forgotten me, and wanted to take matters into my own hands. However, I knew the truth: that He is faithful, and decided to wait or to never marry, if that was God's will. My husband and I were married later in life: seven years ago when I was just shy of 41 and he was 35. I have never been sorry I waited! Though we have lost three babies, we have one surviving child who is our gift from God. What a delight she is! She often listens to Nancy with me. Because of these changes, my times with the Lord have seemed harder to come by. I don't know how many times the words you have spoken have been directed by the Lord to a specific area of my life. I have been a Christian for 41 years and, for the most part, have walked with the Lord faithfully. One of the reasons is because I have had people like you who have been faithful to 'break' the Word of God and offer it in a fresh way. Thank you for your willingness to minister to your sisters in Christ as well as to those who are seeking Him. I might add that it is a particular blessing to see your servant heart. I don't sense that you are grasping for a position or for authority. In today's society that is rare, and it is a joy to God's heart. The Lord's blessings be upon you!

I would like to thank Revive Our Hearts for the uplifting, encouraging programs! God is using them on a daily basis to make me into the godly woman he wants me to be. It's to my shame, that the closer I get to God, the more I find that I need to get even closer to Him, if that makes sense. He reveals to me daily areas of my life that need improvement and ways I can become more committed to Him.

I got married in May of last year. I am a homemaker, and my husband is very supportive of me staying at home. However, I get a lot of pressure from many people, especially women who work outside of the home, to get a 'real job'. I'm so thrilled that you encourage women to fulfill their godly roles as wives and mothers by staying at home and being there for their husbands and their children.

I have been listening to your broadcast for at least seven years. On several occasions my heart has been touched by your ministry. I am a preacher's wife, mother of three grown children, and have six grandchildren. Thank you so much for the words I needed to hear at the time the Lord knew I needed to hear them.
